Aims and Objectives

The advancement of education by way of providing a wide range of Arts activities and events including Literature, Music, Dance, Drama Mime, Visual Arts including Craft Workshops. Mind, Body Spirit events, Book reading group, Theatre trips, and Monthly Arts walks.

Providing workshops and occasional entertainment by provision of cultural development through the arts generally.

To provide workshops in Community Centres, Colleges, Theatres and schools.

To heighten awareness through literature events, workshops and discussions on topical issues, and to encourage students to use the arts to explore ideas and themes. To think about their works and evaluate it, as ell as matters relating to their own lives, enabling them to develop their imagination and communication, sensitivity and self confidence through the medium of drama and the arts.

To offer and promote equal opportunities for everyone regardless of race, creed or colour. To ensure the membership is representative of the local community and includes a broad age range, gender mix, and includes people of differing ethnic origin, as well as additional needs and disabilities.

To encourage and create opportunities for members and the wider community to participate in a variety of events including:- Theatre, Music, Literature, Arts and other related events.
