Our path will take us near the site of the Old Arthington Station. Some walking on the main road is inevitable. We return near Staircase House! We will enjoy a refreshment stop at The White Hart Pub in Poole. This is a Circular Walk. Length around 3 miles. Details to follow.
Please meet outside the pedestrian entrance to the park near the corner of Beeston Road and Parkfield Avenue. This is opposite Holbeck Cemetery and the Leeds-bound bus shelter. The minor road from Leathley leads to the delightful Medieval Riffa Lane. Could be muddy! Possible car sharing or could re-organise route with train to Weeton and then A2 Bus to just past Riffa Bridge on A658. Details and decision of route to follow in early March. Length around 3 and half miles.
