The LCA Book Reading Group

£3The book we reading at the moment is – GILEAD by Marilynne Robinson.
Winner of the Pulitzer prize for fiction and also, Oprah Winfrey’s book club pick. The book is a memoir written by Reverend John Ames to his young son. An account of his life and that of his forebears covering the civil war, the abolition of slavery and the relationship between fathers and sons.
The LCA Book Reading Group meets every Monday at 3 – 5 p.m. HEART, Headingley.
Everyone is welcome to read. Those who prefer not to read are welcome to just come along and listen.
