Trip to Guisborough & Saltburn by the Sea

Guisborough: Guisborough is a market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. Guisborough market is held every Thursday and Saturday, has long been a focal point for the surrounding area. It is open from early morning to late afternoon on the recently-restored cobbles of Westgate, the principal shopping street. Guisborough Museum, behind Westgate’s Sunnyfield House, exhibits photos of Guisborough’s history and inhabitants. There is a working watermill at Tocketts Mill.

Saltburn by the Sea:  has maintained much of its original charm as a Victorian seaside resort including its pier, the colourful Italian Gardens and walks through Riftswood. Saltburn has the oldest water balanced cliff tramway in Britain that is still in operation, linking the town with the pier 120 feet below.
