‘Dance and Exercise workshops for Health and Wellbeing’ with Emma Sutton

Commencing Tuesday 22 September 7.15 p.m. – 6 weeks, omitting 29th September.
Dance can play a significant part in improving our health and well-being. Dance combines healthy physical activity, the engagement of the creative spirit, the promotion of emotional expression and the encouragement of social interaction.
In these sessions we will try out a variety of dance styles from around this colourful world of ours. We will be looking at both traditional and modern styles.
Sometimes it can be difficult to get into a dancing mood – caught up our thinking heads as we can be. So we will also we exploring various mind body practices from around the world – different ways to unite our thoughts and limbs so we can feel connected and dance fully and presently in the moment.
Bring along your curious minds and feet on Tuesdays at Headingley Heart from 7.15 to 9 beginning 22nd September.
