DESCRIPTION:Horsforth Village Circular (5 miles) \nDirections \n11:00 No. 50A bus from Stand G on Eastgate (in front of the John Lewis Store). \nAlight 11:37 at ‘The Green’ (opposite the Horsforth Village Museum) Postcode: LS18 5JB \n*If coming by car please arrive by 11:40am at the Fink Hill Car Park\, Horsforth\, LS18 5DX \nThis pleasant circular walk takes in a variety of local historical and scenic sites\, all in the Horsforth region. I will stop and read these interesting ‘asides’ to you as we walk along. \nRefreshments \nOn completion of the walk there are local cafes on the Town Street. However\, I heartily recommend that you visit the free and fascinating Horsforth Village Museum. It has been described as a ‘wonderfully eccentric and educational’ place\, covering the Victorian\, Georgian and Edwardian periods. \nPoems on the theme of ‘history’ or ‘historical events’ would fit in beautifully. \n*Please wear suitable walking gear – the area can be wet and boggy in places. Bring a packed lunch and a drink.

With special expertise and care\, the ceiling paintings from the Sistine Chapel have been reproduced in a truly unique way using licensed high-definition photos.
