I will stop and read these interesting ‘asides’ to you as we walk along. \nRefreshments \nOn completion of the walk there are local cafes on the Town Street. However\, I heartily recommend that you visit the free and fascinating Horsforth Village Museum. It has been described as a ‘wonderfully eccentric and educational’ place\, covering the Victorian\, Georgian and Edwardian periods. \nPoems on the theme of ‘history’ or ‘historical events’ would fit in beautifully. \n*Please wear suitable walking gear – the area can be wet and boggy in places. Bring a packed lunch and a drink.
